Using a modern 3D laser with the applied Fiber technology, we perform comprehensive and precise processing of profiles and pipes with large diameters. The innovation of the method lies in the fact that it is not the workpiece that is moved, but the much lighter cutting head. Blocked material cannot move uncontrolled. The laser cutting head passes automatically from one side to the other, using the entire thickness of the rod, without generating waste. As a result, the cutting geometry is much more accurate and the lead time is shorter, which translates into increased production capacity and ensures high repeatability of products. In addition, laser processing is so precise that the edges of the elements are perfectly smooth and do not require additional corrections with grinding tools.
Laser cutting is most effective when machining mild steel up to approximately 30 mm thick.
